Cookie Jar from The Common Good

Our humble beginnings started with attending food reviews and restaurant invites. Since then, our friends and restaurant owners are sending products to let us try.

A couple of days back, our friends from I’m Hotel sent a cookie jar from their newest Food & Beverage outlet- The Common Ground Food Playground.

The jar contains a mixture of some basic cookie ingredients like flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, chocolate chips, oats, and other dry ingredients. We followed the instructions by adding a bar of butter and an egg, then baked it in the oven.

We chilled it for 10 minutes before baking and we baked it for 17 minutes instead of 19 minutes to get a softer batch. We achieved it with slight burnt edge rustic effect to it by scooping it using spoon. If you want a perfect round shape, use an ice cream scooper instead.

We are happy to say that we enjoyed the cookie, but if you have a sweet tooth like me, you may add sugar to make it a bit sweeter.
